A new opportunity has arisen in the Global Custody Division of this successful Investment Bank. Developing new services relating to Carbon Credits, you will drive the business and promote it by dealing directly with clients and existing sales teams

The group has more than 30 offices in the US, Europe and Asia.

An opportunity has arisen for a Product Specialist to join an existing team that is developing into providing Custody services to clients relating to Carbon Credits.

Duties will include:

Building relationships with and liaise with brokers of carbon credits

Establishing relationships with legal entities, bankers and other intermediaries through whom we are likely to win new business.

Working with existing sales personnel to develop leads and business opportunities.

Keeping abreast of market developments globally in carbon credit related services / products

Exploring new opportunities based on new market developments, technological improvements / regulatory changes.
 

Candidates will need to demonstrate:

A strong academic background and positive career progression to-date.

Proven Business Development experience.

Strong relationship building skills

Strong understanding of Carbon Credits, in various markets.

Be a self starter

Ability to travel both within the UK and internationally (50%)
