Develop and drive Genworth Lifestyle Protection Insurance strategy and vision in the Polish market taking responsibility for the Operating Plans and budget to ensure that the business meets all financial and operational performance targets.

Responsibilities

Develop and drive Genworth strategy and vision in the Polish market
Responsible for the Polish business Operating Plans
Take overall budgetary responsibility to ensure that the business meets all financial and operational performance targets
Successfully develop and deliver a country strategy which will deliver sustainable growth through new products, clients, distribution channels, creative pricing and promotional activities
Represent and promote the interests of the local business internally and externally
Leadership responsibility for the county team (12 employees), including input with regard to goal setting, coaching, personal development, appraisals, salary planning and performance management
Manage client relationship and ensure client satisfaction according to service level agreements
Identify market trends for the Polish Lifestyle Protection Insurance industry
Identify new distribution channels and prospective new business / clients
Maintain good relations with local regulators and trade bodies by ensuring regulatory compliance
Guarantee the brand development in the market


Skills & Experience

University degree / MBA
Proven relevant experience in Financial Services Industry preferably within the Banking and/or Insurance sectors
Previous experience of managing teams of professional staff is essential
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Fluent in Polish and a good level of English language, written and spoken
Strong planning and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines and reach ambitious targets, whilst being able to execute
