Currency Portfolio Manager

A position has arisen in the Global Investment Solutions Group (GIS) for a Currency Portfolio Manager to assist and develop the investment functions within the team. The team is responsible for the management of over USD 100 Billion in multi asset and currency portfolios and is a solution provider for institutional and private clients. These solutions build on our strength and expertise in the areas of asset allocation and risk management. They include asset and liability modelling; strategic and active asset allocation; investment risk management analysis; portfolio management; and consulting, education and training.

 

You will be responsible for working alongside senior asset allocation and currency colleagues in the analysis of economic and financial market, interpretation and projection of economic trends, and development of financial market and economic forecasts. Your role will include development of the investment process for currency and contribution to the performance generated by dynamic strategy setting. It is important that you are able to communicate effectively with investment groups on currency and asset allocation issues and you will play an important role in the development and marketing of currency and assets.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you hold experience in currency analysis and strategy setting for excess return-seeking purposes along with knowledge within macro economics and financial market analysis. You will posses strong mathematical and financial skills and preferably have taken the IMC and CFA examinations.
