We require an experienced commodities structurer for a role within a brand new team for one of the world's most prestigious commodities companies. Ideally you should have Gas and Oil experience, however exceptional candidates from any commodities background will be considered.

One of the world’s most famous and prestigious commodities companies is seeking an experienced commodities structurer for a role within a newly created team. You will ideally have Oil and Gas experience, however exceptional candidates from any commodities background will be considered. A separate structuring and product development function is being created as a complete entity and will be heavily invested in to continue to expand our structured products capacity. A new head of structuring for the global business has been brought in and we have significant investment to continue the expansion of our structured products base. We are world leaders in Oil and Gas exploration, supply and trading and we are continuing to increase our commodities products for our clients as a driver for our profitability.

You need to come from a heavily mathematical and / or quantitative background as you will have strong influence and contact with the quant analysts, in addition your knowledge of the products should be exceptional. Knowledge of trading issues and requirements as well as origination will be obviously a huge advantage but more importantly you need to be able to discuss pricing models and quantitative issues with the quant analysts to resolve and progress productively in conjunction with both quants and traders.
