Our client is, essentially, the world's f/x prime broker.

We need a wildly enthusiastic manager, with excellent skills in foreign exchange operations, knowledge of systems (SWIFT FIN, SWIFT NET, and IBM Global Network), iron discipline and the ability to recognize irregularities in patterns. It doesn't matter if you are old or young but you must have an excellent judgement faculty: you when to escalate a problem before it becomes a meltdown, and you better than to call the boss in the middle of the night about a trifling matter. These are the mandatory credentials. Everything else is commentary.
