YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: In our graduate trainee programme with its focus on risk underwriting, you spend 18 months preparing your personal foundation for working in the exciting and widely varied core business of Munich Re. Or you may use your talent in individual graduate trainee positions in accounting, controlling or investments. Training on the job, training periods in interfacing areas and seminars allow you to develop your professional, social and methodological skills and build up personal networks in the company. During several weeks spent abroad, you also enhance your intercultural skills.

YOUR PROFILE: You will require an excellent degree, ideally rounded out by practical experience in the insurance/financial services sector or in areas of accounting, controlling or investments. You have already gathered your first international experience. You enjoy in-depth work on complex topics. Your command of English is excellent. You have or are willing to acquire a working knowledge of German and ideally speak another foreign language. Your communicating and analytical skills, and empathy, are strengths. You are able to transfer your knowledge to new situations quickly.

OUR COMMON BENEFITS: With about 10,000 employees in more than 50 locations around the world, Munich Re is one of the world's leading risk carriers in the field of reinsurance. Whether it be information technology, genetic engineering, space travel, machinery construction or the FIFA World Cup, there is virtually no area of the economy or daily life in which we are not actively involved. Clients put their trust in our financial strength and the competence of our staff. Excellent opportunities are available here to help you realise your full personal potential.
