Our client is undertaking two major initiatives to transform the IT architecture and business processes across the global organisation • IB Application Strategy • IB Data Integrity Programme The Application Strategy is directly sponsored by the CIO and contains a broad range of initiatives to re-architect the IT application infrastructure. One of the key initiatives is Integration Framework the IF is one of a select number of Signature Programmes deemed critical to the Investment Bank.The Data Integrity Programme is directly sponsored by the Global Head of Operations and the Global Head of Control. The DIP governs a range of data initiatives. The Control Data programme is one of the most prominent of these initiatives, managing all aspects of data sourcing that are common to one or more of the Control Functions (defined as Finance, BUC/Product Control, Client MIS, Credit Risk, Market Risk, Global Collateral and Margin Management and Legal & Compliance). This function is fully global and cross product in all their operations. This makes them uniquely placed to drive teh consolidation and data consistency agenda required.
We are looking for: Strong programme manager with deep Investment Banking background • Good Programme Management disciplines – gained from extensive experience running large programmes • Very articulate - strong consensus building qualities • Good listener and strong presenter • Comfortable interacting with and presenting to large forums, including MD’s and Board members. • Good strategic functional knowledge and experience • Analytical and questioning mind. Able to challenge the status quo on a large scale and suggest viable alternative approaches • A strong knowledge of Market and Credit Risk Management would be a benefit The successful candidate will have the competencies required to ensure that the scope and direction of the programme is shaped and controlled, with full buy-in from the key stakeholders. This will require strong domain knowledge and the intelligence to understand, articulate and drive through a complex vision across multiple consumers.
