The position manages the Capital Markets Middle and Back offices in New York. It is matrix managed by the head office, and New York Chief Operating Officer, responsible for all Back and Middle Office functions for the Capital Markets businesses operating in the U.S.

Main duties: Deliver a consistent BO and MO support to Capital markets business, from the point of view of New York as well as from Head Office. Secondary duties: As the current team organization is made of a number of small teams, the BO manager will have to reorganize and align these teams. Specific duties: As the Stock Loan and Trade Surveillance functions are specific to the function, there is a need to know or learn the specificities of a Broker Dealer management. This includes taking the relevant series examinations. As the control and reconciliation team is working closely with the Finance department, there is a need to know or learn the specificities of U.S. Broker Dealer accounting Candidate profile: Well rounded knowledge of processing of both cash and derivatives products covering the full spectrum of Capital Markets products Well rounded knowledge of operational controls and accounting Specific knowledge of U.S. Broker Dealer operations French language fluency is highly desirable
