Excellent opportunity for experienced trader with experience in securities lending, equity finance or treasury

My client, a successful, global investment bank, is seeking to hire an experienced Trader who will take responsibility for running a number of trading books containing a broad range of instruments, focused on equity related trading. Trading includes structured equity products, securities lending, total return swaps and income conversions. The credit trading is a fully hedged book.

The trader will be able to run and manage all aspect of these multi-products/currency books,, as well as all internal relationships with middle and back office.

The successful candidate will:

• Be an experienced professional with a minimum of 5 years’ trading experience in equities finance, securities lending or treasury and with an excellent academic background

• Have well-rounded and in-depth knowledge of a wide range of financial instruments

• Possess excellent leadership and networking skills as well as initiative and drive. The person will also have a passion for trading and will thrive in a pressurised environment.
