• Global Research House – Multi Asset Class • Lead an Experience Research Team • Salary up to $180,000 + Bonus + Travel + Incentives My client is the world’s foremost source of credit ratings, indices, investment research, risk evaluation and data and is an indispensable part of the investment process. They have offices all around the globe and an active policy of providing overseas opportunities to its employees.

Significant expansion within the research teams has been planned to help manage growing client research needs for equities, fixed income, derivatives and alternate investment products. A position has been created for a highly experienced research manager based in Sydney.

The role encompasses the following responsibilities:

• Lead the ratings process for allocated asset sector (including preparation, allocation of analysts, manager reviews, peer reviews, chairing of rating committees and report generation).

• Deliver high quality and insightful stewardship, drive analytical debates and research criteria development

• Deliver sector and rating outcomes to clients and key stakeholders through the production of sector reports.

• Manage team members and co-ordinate research into specialist subject areas.

• Manage media inquiries related to these specialist areas and interests.

Essential to this role is the ability to maintain expertise and knowledge in specialised areas, to develop, train and mentor junior members of the research team and drive analytical deliberations/discussions with clients and business leaders. An excellent knowledge of global investment products will be expected as standard, as will your ability to influence and manage a talented team of analysts. You will come from an asset consulting, fund management, asset research, broking or advisory background and be looking for a very high profile and challenging role with a global leader.
