Industry Funds Management (“IFM”) is one of the largest global infrastructure investment managers. IFM currently manages $7 billion of infrastructure assets in Australia, the United States and Europe.

The opportunity exists for an outstanding executive to join the IFM Infrastructure team in Melbourne. The unique position requires a range of corporate finance, acquisition, and fund management skills, combined in a single role with tremendous opportunity.

The Analyst role participates in all stages of the investment process through:

• financial modelling of acquisition candidates and existing investments
• preparation of investment submissions as part of the investment process
• participation in the due diligence process
• reporting of investment and portfolio performance

The position offers candidates the opportunity to interact with top level decision makers and to be directly involved in the execution of substantial Australian and international transactions. There may be the opportunity to relocate to the IFM offices in London or New York in the future.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, be highly motivated and demonstrate outstanding academic results. While a background in corporate finance, accounting, consulting or related fields is preferred, all backgrounds will be considered. Candidates will ideally have 1 – 2 years relevant experience.
