Measurisk
is a leader in providing institutional investors and asset managers with sophisticated risk transparency and risk measurement solutions to help assess, manage and communicate risk across multi-manager, multi-asset class portfolios.
Measurisk works with hedge funds in two way: 1) As partners in helping investors better assess risk in their hedge fund portfolios, 2) As direct clients of Measurisk.
Measurisk's success is critically dependent on the number of hedge funds on the platform and the relationships with hedge fund managers will help shape the future of the company.
Mission
The Hedge Fund Platform Manager will maximize the number of hedge fund managers on the platform, promote Measurisk's capabilities and enhance the organizations image in the hedge fund community.
This individual will accelerate the addition of hedge funds on the platform through pro-active on-boarding.
Responsibility Sign-Up Hedge Funds as Partnerso
Drive hedge fund sign-up efforts for new and existing Measurisk clients o
Outline and present a clear manager sign-up program for each new cliento
Manage necessary follow-up issues including creating, gathering and preparing appropriate materials and sample reporting for new fundso
Maintain ongoing communication and updates with new clients/Measurisk client services on manager sign-up effortso
Coordinate documentation associated with each manager relationship with legal team and Measurisk managemento
Coordinate holdings data transfer arrangements for new funds with Measurisk data feed teamo
Maintain a hedge fund manager database and prepare management reports
Support Signing of Hedge Funds as Direct Clients Work directly with Measurisk sales team and sales channels developing strong relationships with hedge funds Identify potential direct client relationships with partner hedge funds


Qualifications
Required Skills and KnowledgeAn understanding of the hedge fund industry and hedge fund strategies. An understanding of securities instruments including stock, bonds, options and other traded instruments An understanding of risk issues and risk management techniques Well organized with attention to detail Articulate communicator able to respond effectively to a variety of questions in short, focused conversations Good judgment with a strong understanding of the importance of guarding confidential information at all times Under-graduate degree required Bright, presentable, strong communicator, mature, self-starter who is a hard-working team player
Experience and Target Population3 to 6 years in related functions/organizations Investor Relations/service/relationship management for prime broker or fund adminstrator, cap intro, hedge fund/fund of funds client services, hedge fund analyst, fund of funds due diligence
