Job DescriptionWe see a significant opportunity to grow PwC's Risk Advisory practice in the Financial Services sector to capitalise on growing market demand resulting from both ongoing pressure and scrutiny from regulators and other stakeholders and financial services organisations taking a broader, more holistic view of risk and how it should be managed. Our aspiration is for Risk Advisory to be one of a limited number of major brand-defining Advisory services for PwC in the Financial Services sector, and to become the preferred supplier of risk advisory services in the Financial Services industry. For this we need the best and brightest individuals to grow the business and deliver risk solutions to our clients. Our risk advisory proposition is simple: five key risk propositions across four key industry sectors :
- Business risk solutions: strategic risk; risk appetite; M&A / investment appraisal; real option valuation; decision analysis; process redesign / embedding risk management; people & culture.
- Risk and Finance integration: risk-based capital management / planning and budgeting / performance measurement; risk financing; treasury and ALM; tax risk management; reporting and disclosure.
- Risk functional effectiveness: role definition; governance; cost effectiveness; process efficiency; skills review.
- Technical risk solutions: credit, market, operational risk, including risk quantification / modelling and instrument valuation; risk systems strategy and implementation.
- Regulatory solutions: Basel II / Solvency II / other regulation Four Key Industry Sectors
