Credit Analyst, Structured Loans
Responsibilities ? Evaluate new transactions (including energy and utilities, project finance, leveraged loans and asset-based lending) from a credit perspective. ? Perform written annual and quarterly credit analysis for a diverse portfolio of structured loans. ? Heavy cash flow modeling and sensitivity analysis for all portfolio credits. ? Monitor portfolio with a “proactive” approach to credit developments. ? Assist in the monthly preparation of credit status reports for Management. ? Prepare of internal rating sheets and credit spreads. ? Conduct internal and external audit reports as needed. ? Attend external bank and company presentations.

Job requirements, skills and experience • Minimum BA / BS in a business-related discipline. (MBA/CFA is a plus) • Minimum 3+ years of structured loans experience (corporate, leveraged, energy, project finance, asset-based lending) • Strong analytical skills with an ability to formulate an independent credit “view”. • Heavy “hands-on” writing of credit analysis. • Extensive financial modeling/projections and sensitivity requirements. • Manage a volume-driven workflow. • Needs to work quickly and efficiently across multiple sectors (e.g. Commodities, Infrastructure) • Multi-tasking ability with some account operational support is required. • Interest/ability to learn about diverse industries. • Demonstrable strong Excel knowledge / skills. • Good negotiating skills • Good organization and communication skills (oral & written). • Knowledge of Bank back office operations a plus. • Spanish language skills is a plus
