The main functionality of the position is to implement business development strategy through ongoing training, sales presentations and direct network involvement to increase market share and continue to expand on the current leading profile of the brand. The ideal successor will be an industry leader with a record of top achievement in this field.
An ability to understand and influence adviser behaviour will be a primary focus of this role. As the role has a history of high performance, the ideal BDM will possess an ability to rapidly build rapport with current clients in addition to introducing new clients through additional channels. Experience should include successful implementation of a sales model that promotes the company product, technology solutions and services as an integral part of the client's business. As a current business development manager, you will have a record of high achievement and a tenacious drive to provide exceptional results.
You will ideally be degree qualified in a relevant Financial Services discipline and be PS146 compliant. As a natural leader and relationship manager, an intricate knowledge of wealth management products and services will be essential in order to provide specialist technical expertise to the market.
