Our client a major European investment bank is seeking to expand it's Product Control team based in Singapore to support it's expanding front office business growth.

If you have an accounting, banking or financial engineering qualification, currently based in AUSTRALIA, LONDON or USA & wish to relocate to Singapore; one of Asian's major financial centre and have 2 to 5 years product controlling experience in banking - this role will suit you !

The role of PRODUCT CONTROLLER (Associate / AVP / VP grade) requires focused, talented and enthusiastic professionals who can communicate well with front office daily.

THE ROLE :

- Partner closely with Front Office Traders to evaluate their trading moves and assess their risk

- Prepare , analyse and report daily Profits and Loss by business / products / desk ensuring positions are fairly valued

- Perform price verification / valuation methodology for transactions

- Provide daily commentary to the trading desk

- Assist business units in dealing with changes & new product accounting

YOU ARE :

Degree educated & accounting qualified (CPA / CFA / MFE)

Internal Auditors auditing the financial services group ie banks, with good understanding of products and controls will be considered

Good analytical, organisational skills and documentational skills.

A fast learner with flexible approach to work.

Hands on exposure to products such as cash equity, equity derivatives, interest rate derivatives, credit derivatives, structured, FX, Money Market products.

Candidates from exotics and complex product class who are currently based in London, Australia or USA will be at an advantage.
