Strategy development and implementation

• Help to agree and implement the strategy for the International Securities Lending business, working with the Head of SL Product Management and key stake-holders. Specific areas of focus will be new markets and collateral expansion
• Maintain Product Integrity for SL
• Ensure product process is consistent.
• Ensure product is robust and regulatory sound.
• Ensure product has scalability to provide growth opportunity.
• Ensure that existing product is suitable for new clients or markets, or new requirements are developed.
• Work with Manager to highlight and resolve any potential gaps or inconsistencies. New Product Development
• Lead product development for new SL markets and collateral expansion
• Ensure market trends and legal and regulatory requirements are incorporated in product/solution design.
• Project manage agreed product/solutions working closely with partners in Legal, Operations, Technology and Tax as required Support Business Development
• Support client and sales teams as required with regard to specific subject areas
• Identify solutions to maximise revenues within an appropriate risk framework
• Play a key role in the continued growth of the programme and maintaining Northern Trust’s leadership position
• Work with product in London and Chicago to share market opportunities and competitor information.
