This client is an independent investment and advisory company dedicated to UK mid-market private equity covering a variety of sectors. Their focus is to acquire companies to build businesses in partnership with existing and new management teams. Their individual approach is to remain fast and flexible, with streamlined decision making and without committees. Currently they have raised a fund of £400 million and they are ready to commit up to £100 million of equity to any single investment. The role will provide immediate exposure to every part of the deal and the individual will take on a lot of early responsibility. This will include financial and commercial analysis as well as the ability to evaluate potential investments and carry out substantial due diligence to identify key areas of risks and opportunity. The successful candidate will have very strong academics and at least four years work experience including top tier strategy consultancy. An MBA is not a requirement but immediately post MBA if you do have one. Strong commercial skills and an entrepreneurial nature are a necessity.
