Our client is a large international financial services group who is currently looking to secure a Director to work within the financial markets division.

As the Associate Director for Agricultural Products your teams responsibilities are as follows:

• Daily reporting of the desks profit and loss, including P&L attribution and analysis of unusual movements.
• Monthly analysis of the Market Division’s results including monthly commentaries which reports to EXCO
• Maintenance of the Market’s general ledger, including monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet and maintenance of their structure.
• Projects
• Advising the traders on the treatment of non-standard deals
• Liaising with Operations and the sub-system owners
• Review of new products and system implications / testing.
• Review Group Reporting / Financial Reporting
• Review Budgeting and Forecasting
• Ad hoc requests (assisting with tax, audit and risk reviews)

The successful candidate will need to possess the following:

• 8+ years post qualified experience as a Product controller
• Relevant degree including accounting/finance major
• Worked in a Trading/Investment bank
• Good working knowledge of financial processes, including accounting/valuation of financial instruments.
