Your mission is to work in a team environment to develop a comprehensive and appropriate set of functional requirements for Markets Operations supporting the FX Cash, FX Options and Commodities businesses.  These requirements will reflect good business practice and incorporate an understanding of the business processes and data flows.  The role will include all SDLC cycles including requirements gathering ,analysis and solutions design. The role will require application configuration where appropriate, development of detailed test and implementation plans as well as execution of those plans.

• Perform analysis of the current applications and data flows within a complicated FX & Commodities environment
• Independently gather information from different parts of the organisation as required to produce deliverables
• Contribute to project planning & cost estimation
• Work collaboratively with the development & testing teams following an agile methodology to deliver against aggressive timelines.

Your abilities - skills, knowledge & training

•     Meet at least one element for each of the following items:
  • Demonstrate a sound appreciation Markets Operations functions and control environment and compliance processes (preferred
  • Demonstrate exposure to the regional markets (Australasian, European, American) and an understanding of the differences;
• Business savvy and experienced in the business side rather than IT

• 5-7 years experience in IT environments, with greater than 4 years experience in business analysis

• Formal training in analysis & project management, process mapping, analytical tools (eg. case modelling)
• Experience in managing a small team is desirable
