Key responsibilities will be:
- Management of the new business approval processing ensuring all relevant parties are involved and actively engaged
- Implementation of new business initiatives for the Division, including coordinating and managing resources internally and externally
- Planning and implementation of major support projects
- Coordination of annual planning, strategy and budgeting processes
- Management reporting
- Profitability monitoring including expense monitoring and cost control
- Managing relationships with local regulators in accordance with the policies of the group
- Compliance monitoring
- Representation on industry or regulatory committees where appropriate
The key attributes we are seeking for this role are:
- Excellent understanding of the banks internal processes in particular in relation to Operations, Finance and Risk Management
- A good understanding of equities and equity derivatives
- Effective project management, business and strategy planning skills
- Strong technical skills in accounting (preferably qualified Chartered Accountant)
- Good commercial acumen
