Integral part of the team ensuring that Ireland's leading bank's credit exposure is kept in line with internal and external guidelines

Junior Credit Analyst

You will be working for one of Ireland’s largest and most successful financial institutions.

You will be work as a credit analyst as part of the team implementing and monitoring the Bank’s internal risk rating.

Main Tasks:

– Querying, analyzing and modeling financial, risk and credit information from database systems to support credit and business initiatives.

– Working closely with IT and other business areas to ensure smooth implementation of scoring/ratings systems.

– Preparing and analyzing monthly MIS reports to ensure that the Bank’s risk rating systems are performing within expected tolerance levels.

– Preparing ad-hoc analysis to support a broad range of credit and risk initiatives / projects.

The successful candidate will have most or all of the following skills, experience and attributes:

- A third level degree in a quantitative discipline e.g. finance, engineering, mathematics, physics.

- Advanced excel skills

- Data analysis experience

- Strong numerical and analytical skills
