Our client, a leading Global Investment bank, is seeking excellent candidates to join their Equities Trading team in Hong Kong.
SCOPE OF ROLE:

Supporting the Global Equity Derivatives business in the role of trader assistant you will be crucial to the smooth running of the desk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:

Join an aggressively growing team that will offer great career development opportunities for the right candidate. Working closely with the traders the successful candidate will book both complex and vanilla trades, learn the process from a front office perspective and be groomed to become a junior trader.

Understanding of front to back workflow and processes are key. Candidate must participate in initiatives to improve service and control in all facets of the role and be proactive and aggressive enough to step up to the challenge.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

  • Excellent knowledge of the Asian Markets.
  • Good Excel skills (Macro level advantageous)
  • Enthusiastic and able to think `out of the box’
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the corporate hierarchy
  • Previous experience of front office support
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight guidelines
  • Willingness to continuously learn and able to show this
  • Motivated to work independently
  • Proven record in front office support, trade support or operations
