To support our development, QA and support activities, Quantlab is seeking to fill the position of Release Engineer/Toolsmith. The team develops state-of-the-art performance systems in C++, C# and SQL Server 2005 using Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2005, for high frequency trading.

To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Software Configuration Engineer.

The team develops state-of-the-art performance systems in C++, C# and SQL Server 2005 using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2005, for high frequency trading.

If you are a talented Software Configuration Engineer who can develop tools to support our IT, development, QA and support activities, and you have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in a software related field, or equivalent, Quantlab is a place that will provide you the opportunity to maximize your abilities and compensate you in a manner that reflects your contributions.

Responsibilities will include:
    Writing JIRA plug-ins to integrate with various systems
    Implementing a controlled build and release process
    Setting up a continuous build system

Essential requirements of this position include:
    5+ years of software configuration management and release engineering
    Good understanding of issue-tracking, preferably Jira.
    Good understanding of either C# or Java.
    Good communication skills
    Expertise in at least one major scripting language (Awk, Perl, Python, etc.)
    Ability to formulate and communicate creative solutions to complex problems
    Ability to work in a team environment
    Bachelors level degree in computer science or other science subject
