Algorithmic Trading Senior C#/WinForms Developer C#, C++, WinForms, .Net, STL, Java, Trading Systems, Algorithmic Trading
An elite financial firm in New York is searching for a candidate who will be involved in developing pricing and risk management application suites for an Algorithmic Trading Desk.

Responsibilities: Develop, enhance and support the front-end applications suite using C#/.NET. Applications include strategy development, order management and pre and post trade analytics.

• Implement frameworks for interacting with trading engines, order management system and other services.

• Enhance and support various back end data and analytics services.

• Contribute towards the sharing support and maintenance of the entire trading system.

Qualifications:

• Strong object-oriented design skills and knowledge of common design patterns.

• At least 3 years of system/product development experience of which 1 year should be developing rich client applications using C#/WinForms.

• Candidates lacking C#/. NET experience with a minimum 2 years of Java/Swing or C++ GUI development experience can be considered provided they match rest of the criteria.

• Solid understanding of UI concepts such as layout, data binding, controls required.

• Prior C++ programming experience is a strong plus.

• Knowledge of SQL and database access API’s (ADO.NET, JDBC) required.

• Experience working with messaging (TIBCO RV) or RPC frameworks (Remoting, RMI, CORBA, SOAP etc.) desirable.

The ideal candidate will have strong background in trading systems development. Experience with Equity and/or Equity Derivative Products will be a big plus. Strong Mathematic skills are desired. This candidate should be well versed in the full project lifecycle and be comfortable working in a fast paced front office environment
